Confused on what I need for HID Upgrade?
 

Hey everyone,

I am wanting to put in HIDs into my 3 and I have a few questions.

I have an 06 mazda 2.3 with the stock h7 halogoens. Plus at the end of the bulb i have to place this adapter like socket on to the bulb so that it will connect to car. Not sure if that's standard so I felt like mentioning it.

Anyway, my first question is, in looking at at things I'm not sure what I need to get as far projector/lens/housing... not sure how to put it. Which of these would be what I need? Or would they both be wrong?

I don't know which of these I need or if I need something different altogether? I would hope that I could go with the $55 per lens option hahah. I'm not looking to make things the absolute best right away, I just want to do things right. So if the $400 or so dollars is just out of wanting a different look I'll hold of. Hope you guys can help straighten things out for me! :D

Also my 2nd question was, bulb temp wise what should I go with? I've read around and seen the charts and discussions but I'm not sure. I want a definite blue color to my lights but also want them to be functional driving at night. I like the color of 12000k bulbs I've seen online, but I'm not sure if they'd be safe and if they'd actually end up looking pretty crappy. What would you reccomend? 12, 10, or 8 k? I want as blue as I can get while still being functional. They don't have to be the brightest hid out there hahaha.
