Cold Air Intake for 2.0L

I've been looking for a cold air intake for my '04 M3, but I can't find one for the 2.0L MT. Would it be okay to get one specified for the 2.3L MT or should I find one labelled specifically for my engine? I'm worried about the part not fitting and poor performance.

You should look for one designed for your engine unless you are very good at modifying parts. I don't think the intakes for the 2.3 will fit properly on the 2.0. I haven't seen any for the 2.0 yet.

After some hard searching I found a couple of options for the 2.0L engine. AEM makes a short ram intake and K&N makes a typhoon cold air intake for the Mazda3 2.0. As far as price, the SRI is about $120 + shipping and the CAI is around $250 + shipping.

give it some time and the aftermarket will be flooded with 2.0/2.3 mazda stuff....mazda uses this engine in almost every vehicle they make now.....there going to be a LOT of support.
