Can I paint the door handles?
 

Hi, Everyone,
I just bought a brand new Mazda3 GX (2008.5) in electric blue color. But the door handles are in black unpainted color. I'm gonna paint them into the similar color to that of body by myself. Any suggestions, pleae?

Make sure you get a good color matched paint.... you can usually buy from paintscratch.com without problems. Next you'll really want to remove the handles from the car to do a good job and that will be a PITA from what I understand. Beyond that remember that good prep work will result in a good end result. Make sure it's clean, prime it, wet sand it, give it several light coats of color (with plenty of drying time between) and then clear it. Don't rush yourself and you should be okay.

Thank you for your kind and quick reply. I didn't realize that there was so much work to do. I just wanted to give it a quick job, but now it doesn't seem feasible. I'll try to follow your instruction and do my best. I am a layman on painting.
