Which bulb should i use?

Hello everyone, new here!
I currently have a 2005 mazda 3 hatchback and im getting tired with the lights i currently have. I was wondering what direction i should take on getting something bright/whiter (for low/high and fog lamp) and is better to use in all conditions. Im aware that blue light is not the best method for rainy conditions. Also, which would last longer, and for a resonable price range. If anyone have pics of the differences between different bulbs used, please post. Thank you!

If you want brighter/whiter then save the money you'd spend on "high end" lamps and get HIDs. Most of the high performance "HID look" halogens emit the same, or very slightly higher, amount of light and last a fraction of the life.

If you have a few minutes check out this page over at danielsternlighting where he talks about "performance" lights with filters on them. http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...good/good.html

Here is some info on HID lighting. Clink on the link. It explains in detail.

Here is a link for reliable HID kits from VVME. The cheapest I've seen so far. Shipping is around $30 so your total would be around $70 which is still a really great deal. My friend has had his kit purchased from here last year and has had no issues at all with them.

HID's are def the way to go. Here is the kit I got:

http://www.dabears2k.com/product_inf...roducts_id=116

I went with a 35 watt 6000k kit. They are white with a hint of blue. When you first start them up they look aqua blue but quickly go to a very bright white. They look very nice and really illuminate the road well. If you don't want to spend the money on HID's you could always get some silverstar ultras. I had some on my car for a while and they were quite bright. And will last longer than cheap "HID look" bulbs.

The bulb type is H7 for the low beams and the fogs are H11 for 05 model.

Silverstar ultras can be had for 25 on ebay and HID's can vary. You can get kits for 60 but I would strongly suggest buying them from a legit site like the link I posted. You get a lifetime warranty and great customer service.

Hope that helps
