BOV question

I saw a video on youtube with a loud bov on the stock MS3 and mine is not as loud as that so I was wandering if anyone knew of a way to make mine louder without warranty void

Stock, all of Mazda's DISI engines come with a BPV (bypass valve). This vents (or recircs) back to the inlet side of the turbo intake. The only way to make this more noticeable that I know of is to install a CAI.

From all I have read, putting a VTA (vent to atmosphere) BOV on one of these engines is detrimental to its health, unless you have some sort of aftermarket EMS.

Do you know where or a websit where I could find more info on exactly how the motor is set up in my MS3. for example the BOV question then like how much boost I have etc..

The Mazdaspeed uses a recirculating or bypass valve which is different from the normal Blow Off Valves.

The one made by Forge is said to be louder than stock and is a direct replacement. check out www.protogeturbo.com
