Auto Mazda 3 i owners wanting to street race or DO street race

I recently got a mazda 3 i with the sports package and i love street racing, drifting and just speed in general. Any one have any advice how to drive this beast right and any modding tips?

Street racing is for idiots. Take it to the track.
Other than that, welcome to the site.

What he said. If you want to race then go to a track. Contrary to popular belief tracks aren't for wusses. At the very least don't crash into anyone else on a public road and kill them. Then I have to work more.

lol where i live there are no tracks, in arkansas we just use parking lots for drifting or old abandoned roads, i dont do illegal street racing, we call the PD and they send some guys to supervise and we enjoy. I just dont want to go out there and make an idiot out of myself

Front wheel drive drift? Please elaborate.

It can be done, I've seen a few professional drifters in civics doing pretty sick sustained drifts, on the street it's most commonly known as flattening your rear tires =)

That is what I figured. And you'd need a fairly light car, narrow tires and get rid of the rear camber.

Or McDonalds trays.

haha has anyone been traying? its so much fun

My car creaks, clunks and squeals enough as it is. I don't need to break anymore stuff. :Eyecrazy:
