7th gen accord coupe 4cyl vs mazda 3 and 6 4cyl
 

Hello all Im looking into getting a new ride for myself and have a list of these three rides...in terms of overall performance how would you compare these cars???

we have a 2013 mazda3 2.0 base. rides like a truck, and a/c just plain sucks. good transmission, and the shift points(automatic) are well positioned for the engine, which i think has lackluster performance. we get about 28 mpg, mostly city driving. handles very good, steering excellent, excellent brakes. seats nice and firm, reminds me of my old recaros. we still have 2 99 millenia 2.3, which will suck the doors off the 3, way better ride, and the millenia a/c is way, way better. the only car close to an accord we have ever owned is an acura integra, which, coincidentally, also had sucky a/c. perhaps the skyactive powertrain is better, but nothing can make up for the sucky ride, and the really sucky a/c. if you live in a warm climate(north texas here) and like a/c, i would look elsewhere

Go with the Accord if you need AC my wife has been a repeat honda buyer since 86 and all of her cars had great AC during the summer. I have a 2011 Mazda3 and the AC is no where near as cold as her 2013 honda.
