2010 Mazda 3 Headlight Out Mystery

Hello folks,

It's my first time here and I've got a real mystery on my hands. I'll do my best to describe the sitch in detail:
I've got a 2010 Mazda 3 sedan with a driver's side headlight out. The passenger side headlight, as well as BOTH high beams, signals, all work fine. I got new bulbs and no change. The driver's side is still out (the 'old' bulbs still look brand new).
Furthermore I checked the fuses, both for the right and left "low beams", and they were fine, although I replaced them just to make sure- still have one headlight out.
Next I took out my volt meter and ran some tests. the side that's working is reading around 12 volts. Cool. The side that isn't working is also reading around 12 volts. Well, since the bulb isn't lighting still, I tried switching the two new bulbs just to make sure the new bulb didn't burn out. The bulb from the working side didn't work in the other side, and the bulb out in the driver's side worked in the passenger.
Based on all of this I assumed it has to be a bad connection (even though the harness is very clean and shows no signs of corrosion). I took electrical parts cleaner and thoroughly treated the area. After that dried, I applied a small amount of di-electric grease to try to increase the connectivity of the harness to bulb leads. Nothing. Even with the lights switched on and jiggling the harness like mad, the bulb did not come on.

I'm stumped, because I'm getting voltage but any number of bulbs I put in don't work, even with clean leads/harness. What do you guys/girls suggest?

Sorry for the novel, and thanks in advance.
