2004 3 can't program fob
 

I've read every page on programming the 2004 3 fob. I've seen a couple different ways people say to do it and I've tried everything.

Open the driver door.

lock and unlock the doors with power lock on driver side

Do this three times:

insert key into ignition
turn key from lock position to on position
turn key back to lock position

Close and open driver door 3 times.

Also tried turning the key 4 times, then 3 times and waiting 40 seconds after closing/opening the door.

I've tried it fast and slow but the ecu never responds by locking and unlocking the door saying its time to program the fob(s).

I've read other people had this same problem but no solutions for it. Anyone know anything about that?
