08 Speed3 Short Shifter / Exhaust Suggestions
 

Hey, looking for suggestions on what a good short shifter kit brand and price would be. Im all stock save for a K&N kit, just looking for a little less work in the shift to enjoy the acceleration more. (not that tickets are hard to get in tru red) Also iv heard the factory upgrade exhaust and im not impressed. The local dealer has it for 450 + install, just wondering what would mantain a throaty sound, something like a G35 infinity. Im deathly afraid of making this car sound like its a 92 civic with a coffee can muffler on a 1.2 liter engine... Previous cars were V8 all over 5 liter so i expect lower tones... any help?

After christmas I plan on taking my car to a muffler shop and getting a 3 inch catback with no muffler installed and maybe a back cat delete. Theres no way I would pay almost 500 bucks for an exhaust. I dont know how it will sound ? I will post on power difference and sound when i do it.

Id like to do something like that, my issue is strict emissions testing in the houston tx area, at most id be looking at cat back w/ cleaned glass pack or borla... id still like to know how yours turns out tho
