07 mazda3 2.3 engine rattle / tick noise
 

hay guys,

please help me identify the cause of the rattle noise coming out of my 07 mazda3 s 2.3 5 speed.

this is not my video but my car is making the same damn noise.

also here is where the noise seems to be coming from. see red arrow.

cam chain tension is low and the chain is slapping around in there... if i'm hearing the correct noise. Where the arrow is pointing is the location of the cam chain, so it makes sense.
If it's under warranty you should have it checked out by the dealer.

I assume you hear this when you're driving? or just when you rev it in when parked?
