Tire pressure warning light.
Have a 2010 Mazda 3 with around 28K on it and original tires. I had one tire some time ago plugged because of a screw. Soon after, it leaked and then I had it patched and it has been fine.
Now, I don't know what the problem is or if it's related to this tire. The tire pressure light came on about a few days ago. I stopped and put air in all 4 tires up to 32 psi. The light went off. A day or two later the light came on again and today, I put air in the tires but the light did NOT go off. Anyone know what is wrong? |
If the second time you put air in and you went too high it may have triggered the other end of the range, expecially if it got warmer out or something similar.
As long as you're in range the light should be off - that range is 32 +-25% I think, so 24-40PSI should keep the light off. |
Thanks djs2571
I will get out the tire pressure gauge and check to make sure it's in the range. Very helpful.
