HP gains over Rim weight

I read an article once about how lighter rims makes faster acceleration, better gas milage, etc.... I just don't remember what formulas and whatnot they used to calculate the increase and everything. Anyone know what I'm talking about or am I having a :newbie: moment?

Reducing weight of your rims/tires has huge benefits because the forumula for angular momentum means those effects are exponential. Also look up the benefits of reducing unsprung weight.

In short, lighter rims/tires have big benefits in every performance category.

I was kinda hoping that someone would already have the info and could just post it for me...I suffer from Chronic Lazyitis with a bad case of procrastination. :D
