Has anyone had problems with the hieght / cearance of their car?

I have an 2008 Mazda 3 which is generallly excelant ecept for the fact that the car is too low. In this country, we have many road and speed bumps which usually scrape the bottom of the car while crosing.
Has anyone thought of increasing the hieght of their car, I mean a few cm? I understand that hiegher = less stability but I'm not a race car driver.

Firstly I apologise for my spelling in the first post.

mrlionhrt, what is a rubber lifter and where are they in the car?

I too have lots of problems with curbs and clearence.
I want to get a lift kit like that. Or higher. We have bad snows here & big hills/ rough roads. I've got 17" rims on it w/ non/slick 'all season' tires.
I want to switch to heavier duty snow tirres, but don't have the clearence. Does any one know of where to get this rubber kit? or more information on the Mazda 3 2006 suspension.

I had my first clearance issue today and then I see your post pretty ironic. I bottomed out going up a ramp and I just thought it was that its a longer car then the one I was used to driving.
