fender rolling??
 

i want to get my fenders rolled to make more room for bigger tires....need to know some things....how much does it really help...what exactly does it do to make more room...and also does it push out the fender or just round the edge cause i want to form my fenders out an inch or 2

If you look at your fenders you will notice that they have a small "lip" that's maybe 5 mm wide or so, and when you get them rolled all that really happens is that the lip gets tucked in upwards. So you get that much more space .. about 5 mm or so (not even an inch .. about 1/4 of an inch). It does help a little bit but it's nothing drastic, and I would HIGHLY advise against it unless you're going to have a reputable professional shop take care of it.

Rolling your fenders has benefits because it gives you more room for lower offset rims, wider tires, etc. but it will cause the paint at the edge of the fender to crack, chip, and peel away a LOT faster. If you were to push out the entire fender an inch or two, then that would just make it that much worse.

So overall, in my honest opinion at least, I don't believe fender rolling to be a good idea whatsoever. The gains are usually minuscule when it comes to tire fitment, and doing anything to your fenders to make them rust and chip away more than they already do is only gonna mean more money out of your pocket at a later date. Instead what you may want to do is look for rims with a higher offset. They will mount further inside the fender and give you more room that way. That's just my opinion tho, everyone's entitled to their own of course..
