Constant Engine Vibration

Over the past 9 months I have had a vibration correlated with the RPM of the engine. It doesn't matter if I'm in Park or Drive, from the start to the end of my trip there is a constant vibration that gets louder with higher RPMs, it is driving me crazy. It only gets worse as time goes by. Does anyone have any idea what this could be caused by? Thanks

there are so many things moving, it could be any number of things from loose parts to bad bearings. Some of that is an easy / cheap fix but others may be very expensive.

you say vibration gets louder - do you mean more intense or is there any noise associated with it?
if there is a noise, describe it, like if it's a heavy thunking or a tinny rattle etc... And where it's coming from, engine area, underneath or to the rear.
can you see the engine vibrating under the hood?

I have the same problem for the last year or so. At first I just let it go, but its been driving me crazy. It vibrates from idle and most of the way thru the rpm range. Dash, bumpers, mirrors, everything shakes. With the vibration the noise is pretty loud as well. Kinda goes away at higher rpms. Ive replaced the broken (right) motor mount and the other two as well. Removed the serp belt and the a/c belt and ran it, still has the problem. Everything on the outside of the engine/trans seems to be good. Balancer is good. This weekend Im going into work and pulling the trans and checking the clutch plates and frictions. Maybe something came apart or loosened up. Trans shifts with no problem. If not that, Ill check the engine.

It does both, it the vibration becomes more intense and the sound also becomes louder. It is coming from the engine, the vibration is not a violent vibration just a constant annoying one that is associated with the RPM's. Since its not violent, I'm guessing its not a timing issue but at the same time I don't have a clue what it could be.
