Type of wastegate on '12 MS3?
 

Anybody know what type of wastegate the 2012 mazdaspeed3 has? What benefits, if any, is there if I were to upgrade the wastegate or blow off valve while near stock? Also, is there a parts breakdown for the car? Like a blueprint? Thanks.

For blueprint type stuff check the tech/howto section. I just posted the workshop manual for the car. I'm afraid that probably about as close as your going to get. Part numbers are hard to come by without calling your local dealership.

As far as a wastegate upgrade, I don't have any experience. I know that cobb does over a blow off valve for the car. I'd imagine with a different tune you could get some more boost or power out of it.

the stock waste gate is an internal one so there is no point in upgrading it unless you go with a bigger turbo. As for the BPV you can get any one you wish..preferably a Bypass valve.
