huge parasitic drain 500 to 1700 mA in keyoff state Mazda3 2007 BK
Hello dear viewers . im new to this forum , mine mazda 3 2007 BK got a huge parasitic drain and after 2 days battery will die .i placed an amp meter between battery negative pole and negative cable , it will show a fluctuating currnet bewteen 1 amp to 1.8 amp .so i cloesd and locked all doors . all lights off .wait for 30 min till the car gets rest mode ,in rest mode i read between 390 ma and 900 ma and fluctuate between this range , so i narrowed it down in main fuse block and BTN fuse came back guilty . if i remove BTN fuse , the current readings goes exact 0 .not even 0,01. so i opened wiring diagrams of BTN fuse , all of its root ends in PJB passenger junction box (second fuse box near passenger foot ), i pulled one by one all the mounted fuses , nothing changed / then removed all fuses at the same time . nothing changed in parastic draw . i unplugged all the ports ans connectors of PJB . and even without PJB it still have drain .if someone is familiar with wiring diagram so he can notice that if we disconnect PJB box / we should have no current from BTN FUSE ... the only thing remain is that me be there is some short circuit in BTN path wiring . but even if there is some short circuits i cant underestand that fluctuating current betweeen 380 ma to 800ma . i also disconnected audio android 11 inch tablet as audio system , nothing changed , also disconnected ECU S connectors ,nothing changed . i should add that i even discoonected battery main fuse(150A)wire from battery that leads in alternator circuit . nothing changed . im confused that what are doing this amazing fluctuating current draw . without PJB without any fuse in main fuse block , so i will be happy if someone have a suggestion and experiences for these kind of parasitic drain on his mazda . its amazing that when i pull the BTN fuse \ it will draw 0 current .even not 1 ma .
