Just a good res pic of each side of the board, focusing on any obvious black / burned out parts or discoloration on the board - like from corrosion or something.
Thanks for getting it back, hope we can shed some light on the failures.

I did get it back, but didn't get a chance to look at it yet. Nothing obvious from the outside, but I'll remove the screws and the cover tomorrow to take a closer look at it. Anything in particular you'd like pictures of?

Did you get any pics?

And for you and anyone else that has had a PJB failure - how often do you use your air conditioner?

Sorry about the delay here. I did get some pics. No obvious signs of problems, particularly burned or damaged components. The whole board has a sort of conformal coating on it, and I didn't bother trying to remove any of it to take any resistance readings.

Anyway, here's the pics....

Great pics of the board... and I don't see anything odd there either, I can only assume that the micro has an internal issue turning things on when it shouldn't. I forgot this was a multiple board system, not easy to troubleshoot with the two boards.
If you want to get rid of the board, i'd be happy to pay for a USPS flat rate box to look at this closer - just out of curiosity more than anything else.

What I was expecting is corrosion (see http://www.mazdaforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24335) that looks to be from the AC being on and condensation dripping on to the connector causing corrosion.
Well at least you have a boatload of replacement fuses :) and a somewhat working PJB with a couple issues.

After "losing" this board for a while, I found it while cleaning up some stuff in my garage. I'd be happy to send it to you if you're still interested.

joe.

I'll send you a PM to figure out shipping. Thanks for finding the board.

My girlfriend's car is experiencing the same problem. Has anyone had symptoms like this that found it WASN'T the passenger junction box? Just wondering as she just took her car to a mechanic, and it was a nice 400$ spent for nothing.
