dash light
I own a Mazda 3 manufactured 2009.
Recently the door light on the dash remained on for a few seconds after the engine was switched off and doors closed. Normally the light would turn off as the last door is closed. The dealers in T&T ran a diagnostics test today (5 Oct 10) which was inconclusive. It showed that the cranking amps was below the recommended level and suggested a battery change. However, they cannot say whether or not the problem would be rectified. Has anyone had a similar experience? What steps were taken to correct it? |
so what was the order of actions to get this... sounds like you're stating two scenarios
1. doors closed & turn off the engine. 2. the engine is off and you close the last door. |
