Blower motor

I live in Texas and my blower motor bearing is shot. The dealer says I need a new one and can't just replace the bearing, not sure about that one. Where is the best place online to buy a blower motor, If I can get a more powerful aftermarket one I would sure be interested in that. Please give me some info and let me know where the best place to buy would be. Also I am planning on fixing it myself so if any of you guys have experience installing a new blower motor your input would be apprecaited.

that looks quite inexpensive for a blower motor assembly... figure you can't go wrong really. It'll also give you a chance to have a blower in the car while you look for a replacement bearing for the stock motor - if you wish to repair it. Check out mcmaster.com for bearings.

i have never in 14 year sat a dealership seen anybody replace just the bearing on a blower motor!. i would suggest you buy an oem one it fits better and the resistor that powers the motor is what controls your speed not the motor. if you get a "performence" blower motor it would be a waste of money becouse it will get the same current as the oem.
