2014 Mazda 3s Oil and Filter Change
Very easy, once you get past the shock of seeing the entire underside of the car cloaked in plastic panels. The largest and rear-most access panel under the engine has to be removed. It's roughly 10" by 12". There are two 8 mm screws and two plastic push pins that secure it. Use a small screwdriver to pry the center pin down about 1/4", then the pin will pull right out. The drain plug and filter are right there. You will need an 8 mm allen tool to remove the plug as it has a recess in it. 5/16" will work too. Mine has a 3/8" drive. With just an allen wrench you'll need to be creative about extending your leverage. That's it!
