2007 Mazda 3 won't start.

Remote entry does not work, no lights, nothing happens when I turn the key.

The car battery was replaced in July 2013.

Back then it did have an electrical issue where some of the indicator lights did not work because after the in cabin airfilter was replaced, they must have bumped the PJB, but after just pressing on all the connections everything went back to normal.

The car has been sitting in the garage for about 10 days and was working perfectly fine when I drove it 10 days ago.

I did not leave the lights on or any other cabin lights on because I've done that a couple of times and always double check before leaving the car / when I got in the lights were switched to the off position.

I have no idea what is going on. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Did you try jumping the battery? My battery is new too and if I don't disconnect it while it sits for weeks at a time the battery still gets drained.

Not that you didn't post this months ago.....

Anyway in order to replace the cabin air filter you don't "bump" the PJB, you have to remove it and disconnect every connection. Since you say you had problems which were corrected by pushing on the connectors I'd say that's likely where your problem lays.

The correct way to reconnect the large plugs is to push them in and fully seat them, and then push the articulating arm into place to lock them. Sometimes people will get them more or less into position and then use the locking arm to pull them into position. It's a good thought, but tends to result in faulty connections. Unplug and reseat each plug and see how that does for you.
