Roger Foo

Im watching the race in washington right now on speed, and noticed that foo switched from the p5 to a protege sedan.... oh and he just hit the wall, so hes out i guess.

I am not very fond of Foo as racer at all. I don't care what he drives-Protege or Civic. And that holeshot award from last year-maybe nobody cared if he would win that race or not-he was so behind on points with two races to go, why shred your rubber trying to catch him?

i dunno, if its just me, but these mazda engines dont seem very race capable/friendly. they seem to have the most problems among their peers. oh well though atleast a few proteges do ok. thing im wondering is why no one is running a nissan (spec v se-r), that seems like a car that should be among these cars also.... oh well

I think that the problems were with gearboxes at the beginning of the season. Lately Mazdas have been doing very well though. Did you watch the Mid-Ohio and Road America races?

i actually havent been able to watch a race up until now, other than the season beginning race where foo debuted his p5

yeah Foo still drives a P5, as a matter of fact, I met the man himself at the DC race :D :

the reason he crashed on turn 2 of the first lap is because he tried to 'jump' the median. He jumped to 2nd from his 5th starting spot, but unfortunately somehow he wasn't able to pull the car back in and ended up in the wall :(

glad to hear he actually FINISHED a race without accident at the Trois-Riviere Grand Prix this past weekend :D

I want to see Roger actually get a podium finish :) It's getting frustrating. Roger is so down to earth and friendly.
