Protege 5 1/4 Mile

I took my Protege 5 to the track about a month ago. I wasnt very pleased with the 1/4 mile times. Keep in mind this is my first time at the track. And you cant hook up good with the track close to me (National Trails Raceway) most other tracks are 1/2 second faster.

17.3 - 78 mph

P5 Times

I actually took my P5 to the track over in NJ last Friday night.

Here are my times (I know I have alot to work on in reaction time)

Here are the times for the three runs:

#1 #2 #3
R/T 1.147 .876 .981
60' 2.473 2.731 2.566
330 7.598 7.591 7.252
1/8 11.560 11.463 11.0762
mph 62.21 63.37 64.12
990 14.848 14.705 14.296
1/4 17.781 17.609 17.184
mph 79.28 80.09 80.95

God that didn't align well. I'm trying to get the quicktime video converted so that it will run on media player, to show that I was spinning all through frist gear. I know this car can easily hit mid 16's. :blue:

Only time will tell how fast I can get it to go. I hope to by next year have a good time for a NA P5. I can't stand to loose on cars like Neon R/T's (16.1).

1/4 Video

I got a friend who knows his stuff about computer:blue:

He converted the .mov to a .gif which actually goes to video.

Not a bad feat to be able to post a video in the photo section of my yahoo site.

Here's the link:

Alittle lengthy but it puts you right there.
