Protege club in Austin?
 

I posted this on the Yahoo groups Protege forum but thought I would try here also.

I am the PR Director for the Tejas Miata club in Austin and I woudl
like to know if there is a Protege Club in town? I am planning some
events with Mazda South as well as a multi brand rally and would like
to have the Protege's invloved as well.

...hey how is going ...as far as a protege club in austin:dunno: ...but,i used to live in austin and go there at least once a month...i would be interested in a meet im sure there are others, do you have a date, or any info yet?

No date yet, just something I brought up with Mazda South's GM while talking about a launch event like we did with the Tribute at the end of 2000. We had something like 30+ Miata's at that event and Mazda South will be having another launch party later this year for the Mazda 6 so I am hoping for a turnout like that or better plus having Proteges as well.

As far as the Rally goes, it will be May 4th and I will post more info as I get it. We are inviting many of the different clubs so that we will have a nice variety of cars.

If someone could let me know the next time there is a Protege gathering in Austin, that would be great as I would like to meet you guys and see what we can work out.

It would be nice to have an Austin or Central Texas Protege Club too. :bt:
