DFW Hooters Rally!! Apr 5th (tentative)
 

Ok Protege people....

Some of us over in the Rx7 world have started planning an event that we're planning to hold the 1st weekend of April.

Basically it's a rally like you used to hear them doing in Europe. You will have a set number of checkpoints to get to, and a target time. The goal is to hit close to this time (no, it's not an all out race, us organizers would prolly get sued)

The goal is gonna be to hit all DFW area Hooters in one day, and gathering a series of points on your wanderings around the metroplex. The goal is not to have just the car with the most horesepower to win, but the team to gather the omost points during the event.. (we're not gonna tell ya how to get points, ahead of time, but I doubt you'll be disappointed.)

The event will be sponsored by a new turbo import shop opening up in the North Ft Worth area, so prizes will be awarded for various items... (www.gothamracing.com)

the details are not yet 100% finalized, but we're looking to have a pair of t-chirts and food for each team at the end of the event, and a nominal entry cost ($10-20/team)

I'll keep you guys posted as we plan this thing even more, but woudl anyone here be interested? This is going to be open to anyone who wants to tag along, so feel free to bring your friends, reguardless of make.
