General: Electrical Wiring
 
When wiring things from your car directly to the battery, how does one really go about doing htat? I've yet to really find a guide on how to wire things directly to the battery, or an alternate powersource...although I hear talk of it alot :P

basically you just gotta make sure you get good wire, good terminals and put a fuse inline that'll handle the max current of whatever you're hooking up.

Cool thanks much, now my next problem, how to get the wires from the inside of the car to the battery ;) I guess that will have to wait till I actually buy the car huh? :D

run them through the rubber grommet that your loom goes through - cut a wee slot in it. it's all in that article i wrote in that link ;)
