one question....so....do these have CLEAR background? or is the only part that ADHEARS is the colored part?

Correct, not clear, but NO background, just the colored parts.

can you (for example) make them white with a red outline, because I am not sure if that would require two layers ?

yes, that requires 2 layers. Anything multi-colored requires layers. Well technically, thats not true, as there are other techniques, but in this case, it is.

so will the price be the same or double for the 2 layers ???

well, if you want just the logo outlined, just add $3 each, sorry no text outlines.

the logo isn't much of a problem to layer, but the text takes more time and work.

here's an example:(sorry, but the flame logo is the only one i am offereing with an outline)
