Doubts about new Mazda 6 AWD

There's an ongoing discussion at a spanish forum about the new Mazda 6 Station Wagon 2.4 166 cv. AWD, with many doubts about the origin of its AWD system.

If the platform is the same as the Mondeo (not sure if there is an equivalent american model for this Ford), and Ford uses Haldex (AWD system) in Volvo (using Torsen for Jaguar), what would be the origin of the AWD for the Mazda 6?

I hope I have explained myself and I haven't done too much assumptions!!

Not sure what your question is? The American Mondeo has been killed off over here last year and we did not get the AWD. There is some talk that the new Mondeo will come over here as a Mercury. I have not here of an AWD for the Mazda 6 . but the US does not get alot of car here in AWD form. Europe and Asia seem to like them more.

The question was about the origin of the AWD system in the new Mazda 6.

If the system was created by Mazda or if they will use Haldex or Torsen AWD systems (because of the Ford connection).

What a mess!
