will this nos work?

Ive got a 2002 pro es sedan and am wondering if this is ok to run as a 50 shot in my car. I emailed to ask if it is a wet or dry kit, because I hear wet is safer. Does it look like anything I will need is missing? thanks in advance ps please dont buy it, if it fits my car I am gonna buy it

Looks like a decent kit...It's a wet kit from his description...the price is real cheap..I would suggest not going w/ anything above a 50 shot!

Good luck

how do you know its for carb? also any problems at all with your nitrous or your car?

Pro Toejay July-1st-2003 08:52 PM

is the first kit missing anything I will need?

acidbbg1 July-1st-2003 11:43 PM

Hey pro-tejay...

I am sorry for the mix up..but both kits are for carburated cars...

so yes you can use them..but you have to change up the jet for the nitrous. and chuck the plate :(

Call NOS for more information...they have a help line as well as email..

I want to tell you that many people who have used dry kits on protege's have had many problems....

I am using a nx wet kit...and haven't had any problems...i have ran more than 8 bottles through my car...and Not a prob...not even prob w/ the clutch!!

ok now im really confused. these are for carburated cars? I thought I could not use them. I emailed the guy and he said they are wet kits. lastly if I can use a kit for carburated cars, can I use the sneaky pete kit? summit racing said its only for carburated cars

If you plan on doing this yourself (the install) I would get a import EFI kit and not screw around. For us that have exp. with N2o systems and installs, a mod or 10 to a setup is no problem. I run a 90 shot wet on my 99 1.6 LX. Yes it deisels in the morning ,no it doesnt smoke and compression is still within 5 psi of stock. I have about 15 bottles through this engine.

the best suggestion would be to do a lot more research about nitruous and what exactly you would need, before you even began to think about buying something. there's lots of sites and FAQ's out there that can help you, you just got to look. before i put the spray on my Z28 i did a lot of research and was able to build a system that did what i wanted it to do. research is your number one tool.
