Will a turbo timer be something that will void my warrenty?

true, but some do more than just turn off your car.

like limpgtx said, i use my timer more than just to shut off my car.
1)
because i have the haltech, it wouldn't work with my whole 2nd gen cluster. my tach wouldn't work. so thats where my turbo timer comes in. the digital tach on that is also better for tuning too. the analog tach is sometime 8% off the actual rpm.
2)
the HKS also comes with a built-in shift light. so it flashes red and blue when you need to shift (at the RPM you choose).
