Supercharger?

I was just looking at Mazda's site...and came across their pics of the Wings West Protege MP3...now in the mods list on the site, it said AEM intake, etc...but the photo of the engine bay showed a nicely constructed supercharger kit..very clean, and chrome headers...who makes a supercharger kit for the 2.0L?

They just custom installed a Vortech kit.

Thats who made the one on the WW Protege. It's a Vortech-style centrifigual blower instead of a traditional "roots type."

i got to see the WW pro at NOPI last year. My god it was like the Mecca of my being. It was sooo beautiful. Close to $60k thrown into that car. I stood there and drooled over it for about an hour. And it's not a show only car it actually works, the dude at WW turned her on for me. The sound was so sweet, like a low whistle that screamed when he reved it. They also had an incredible audio/video setup running through the car too. I wish i had brought a camera or fork lift to take it outta there.

Yo man, I would have killed to see that car!

Lucky bastard...
