just to add to Jesse's comment; the shop manual shows the SOHC having the oil squirters (and the main bearing support plate) as well.

gtx ecu has a knock sensor control, boost control, and some of the wiring is different as fuel pump and gtx ecu has no ck engine light output.knock sensor controler is a seperate part on the car,but lx ecu wont control knock.gtx ecu plugs in to a lx hrnes but it has to be modified.if u have any questins u can e mail me

im using gtx ecu with gtx harnes and knock control module. harnees had to be modified.plugs that conect with interior harnes are difrent and harnes is shorter.j spec cars have ecu on left side in the car,but it fits after little mods.

They squirt the undersides of the pistons. They aren't usually found on low compression NA engines that don't place much (heat) load on the pistons. Their purpose is to remove heat from the piston, and the bottom is the only surface available. Turbo engines generate a lot of heat, especially in the pistons, and if you don't remove it, you can get detonation and melted pistons.
