quite a few guys here have done this....and quite a few have tried and burnt up motors too. Just talk to Linux

however....from all the information floating around in the forced induction / nitrous fourm....you will find that the highest recommended shot is a 50 shot. and if you want to be the safest you can be a wet shot is better.....

anyway...moving this to a more proper section .... and where you will get better responses.

i run a 65 shot. but the nozzle is too close to the TB, and 3&4 are running a little lean. i'm gonna move the nozzle farther away next summer when i put it back in, and see what it's doing then.

Well speaking from exerience with my boyfriends 2002 Protege I would definatly stick to a wet kit and only run a 50 shot. Just make sure you're not running it too lean or your risk messing up the engine. That's what happened to ours, it ran WAY to lean and it could only handle it for so long before the motor couldn't handle it. You're also going to need to makes sure you're running colder spark plugs or you're not going to get a very good boost.

a 50 shot for new guys, and definatly a wet shot. eventhough ive been running a 75 shot for quite sometime now and well read my sig :D 14 baby! track proven! never had any nitrous related problems

with a wet kit its safer if you jet up to a 75 shot than it is on a dry kit, alot of the people that blew their motors around here ran a dry shot.

Dry kits are good but it goes like this

Dry Kit < Wet Kit < Direct Port

oh yeah, and use some colder plugs:)
