more boost = how much more hp?

for every boost you turn up on the vj-20 turbo, how much hp do i gain? so its ~180 at 8psi...

$#@$#@$, ok lemme be more specific, every time i add more pounds per square inch of air (PSI), for every one more i add how much hp do i gain? :D

well i dont know if this will help
i know someone that has an 98 integra, so far the've done the ls/vtec and installed a turbo along with internals...blahblahblah
anyway, the place that installed it for him said that for about every psi you go up, you get about 3whp

If you're past a turbo's efficiency and continue to increase PSI, you will actually lose horsepower. All things being equal, with a small displacement engine, small turbo, etc, you may see 10-15hp per PSI, but as previously stated it DEPENDS :)

there's this universal equation that seems to give you a rough ballpark figure.
i have the 1.5L engine that's rated at 92hp. so if i wanted 6psi running on it, i would like to figure out how much hp i would be making.
1) 6/14.7=0.408
2) 0.408+1=1.408
3) 1.408*92=129.55hp

((desired-psi/14.7)+1)*(n/a rated hp)=final hp
