A little help with an N2O setup

A buddy of mine was looking to sell me an old kit he has made by NOS. It's a wet system with a fogger nozzle, two brand new cheater solenoids, and he just had his bottle re-certified. He wants $250 for the whole setup. Does anyone think that's a good deal? I was also wondering everyone's opinion on how it's going to affect my car. I've got about 77K miles on my 2000 1.6 LX. Is the car a little too 'worn in' to be throwing a 50 shot on there? Any input from you experts would help.

Go for it, but make damn sure you know what the hell you're doing if you install it yourself...

You car will be just fine.

thanks alot. Your ride looks pretty sweet, too. I love the underbody neon, and that grill work is awesome. I'm pretty informed on how the system works, plus I have the help of my buddy selling it to me (he went to school for years and got a freakin' degree in mechanics). Basically just tap into my fuel line near the fuel rail for the fuel solenoid, run the line to the bottle for the nitrous solenoid, and I'll run both a toggle switch inside and a momentary switch on the trottle body so the system will only open when both switches are on. The fogger nozzle will mount into a threaded nut on the intake pipe near the throttle body. He has the lines jetted for a 50 shot, so I won't mess with that. I just want to be certain I'm not going to hurt the engine, but If I run the switch for WOT like I said, I think it'll be alright.

Yep that sounds like a good deal to me!!

About how it will affect your car...

it will make it faster... but at that heavy mileage you have i would be very careful!!!
