Just make sure that the fuel pump can handle what the nitrous dishes needs. Also make sure the fuel injectors are operating as efficiently as possible. Most fuel injectors don't work at their full capacity...maybe only at 85% of what their designed for, so there is a little leeway. Just make sure you use a moderate shot.

On a dry setup, never use a shot bigger than half your stock horsepower. Of course you can run a smaller shot and have a bit more durabilty and increased room for safety. Hell, even a 30-40 shot will scoot you along better than you are going now. It's when you get greedy and think that jetting for another 10hp will be ok that you grenade your shit.

so, with what i have on my car(ingen cai and catback), you think a nx wet kit with no more than 50 shot pretty safe?

Well some of you I know already some dont. Anyways I've been runing dry 50 shot on my little 92 HP (1.5L). So far so good. I have msd ignition box and timing retard 3 degrees , only during nitrous. free flow exhaust also.

Anyhow my point here for that dude is that ours cars have a shit stock horsepower and no matter if you go wet or dry I wouldn't never go above 50 shot anyhow (because I tought about going bigger shot as well but its too dangerous after some thoughts). Dont forget that the problem is not only going "famous" lean, but also the life of the engine that also accounts. Wet is fine if you plan a 75 shot on a 130HP stock, but talking about a 92... things get crazy.
Besides, you can always convert your "NOS" dry system into a wet system for about ~96 bucks later if you want to. Just need a fuel solenoid and a fogger.

42608 miles precisely. I use it just for racings LOL !!!!!!!!!!

gasket is cheap but labor may take mechanics 9 hours...

I dont really think that was the problem. The car has low mileage but still is an old car. Sooner or later this problem would show up, the nirous just accelerated the problem. Too much presure in the little popcorn machine.

well i decided on a nx kit, which im picking up today at local shop. $500 us for the kit.... will let you guys know after the install... thanks for evryones help and comments....

Just go ahead and buy a new motor and send me the $600 for the N2O. Because guess what, that's what you will be doing if you use nitrous. Don't believe me if you want, you will hear my words haunting you when you are sitting on the side of the road with your check engine light and your oil light on.:eek:

not that extreme buddy. I was running 50% of the engine capacity. Should slow it down and be more realistic about what the engine can support (30-40 shots). That wouldn't hurt any bad.

Oh is that so, you kinda forgot to mention the rod you broke not too long ago. You must have forgotten about that. You will blow your motor again unless you use some type of timing control while using N2O. Mark my words.
