Fuel Pumps?

I was wondering about fuel pumps for the BPT application, Of the 2 pumps mentioned; the post 93 Turbo RX-7 and Walbro 255 lph pumps. Is any one better than the other?
I am having a bit of trouble finding a local walbro dealer. But want to know any pro's and con's to either. I have located a RX-7 pump but they are pricey from the dealer!
Also what is a stock first gen pump spec's. What could you safely run with a stock pump?

Thanks

Stock pump isn't good for much boost, it still runs lean due to the ecu mapping.

The RX-7 pump is the same amount of work to install as a Walbro.

I sell the walbro with kit for $125 shipped. Add $8 more for canada delivery.

Does the stock pump run lean even on the GTX ECU mapping?

I have been trying to find most of my stuff through CDN sources cause I've found that after Duty and the exchange of the CDN peso:( I've found that generally I am better off paying a bit more for the part here, especially if I have to send it back!
I do appreciate your info, and found plenty of excellent information with your name attached to it in the Escort and Protege forums:D
I do have a line on an RX-7 pump for approximately the same amount of money (($225 CDN) $133=$208 + Duty + Taxes + Whatever the Gov. thinks I should pay for +++). I was just wondering if I should be going for the Walbro for any reason.

Thanks again for all your excellent info!

Rick
