flow rates of the VJ 20 turbo
 

does anyone know of a website that gives the downlow on the VJ 20 ,.. I need to know the flow rates ... and some other things..
reason why is I am considering this as my main turbo , or t25 or t3 ,
but I may go with the vj20 (get my feet wet) then upgrade and move the vj20 over to the 323.. when I am ready ,...
a 323 with boost + NOS ... hehehe

Flow of a VJ-20 = Crap

A T25 will outflow it, a T3 will outflow both.

Start with a T3 .48/.60 and you'll be set for life.

Hey braden , are you selling any turbo manifolds that can fit up on the 1.8?

I'm pretty much out of everything right now, I only have a GTX ecu with partial harness left till I order some more stuff.

I really wanted a T3 , but I will have to check around into the priceing of getting a many made for it .....
I know turbo1g said he new someone that made manys , but there was something the guy had to do .. oh well I got some few weeks till I do my purchasing so....

You do know that those diagrams are only for the "Family" of turbo's designated by the "RH" number, they only give a rough estimate of what a particular family of turbo's can do.

If you want a good cheap T3 turbo go to a junkyard, look around for a Ford Thunderbird Turbocoupe, Merkur xr4ti, or Mustang SVO. *Most* of those came with a T3 turbo, except for the 87-88 Turbocoupe which came with an IHI turbo (actually not bad turbo for the 2.0l application). If you do find an SVO let me know ;). Just be careful, watch for shaft play, look for oil spots etc... you know the drill.
