Dyno Question
I was wondering. When a turbo car is dyno'd, how are the numbers effected with regards to the intercooler. I mean, as the boost rises, the temp is rising, and wind speed through the intercooler would be the same? How much does the loss of heat-transfer effect the numbers?
Is it compensated for? I have never seen a dyno myself. But will be having it done at the end of the project. Rick CDN 90GT(x) |
Some (if not most) dynoes have large fans to blow through the intercooler to simulate driving down the road.
