Custom turbo question

OK...I know this has been discussed countless times, but all I'm asking for is some feedback. If you don't want to help me then don't post.

I talked to a guy who owns an import shop and he has this tight ass Accord coupe that he turbo'd himself. I told him that there isn't a kit for my 1.6L and he did some research and found nothing. He said that if I get a kit that is made for the 2.0L(Spoolin' or FM), that he would be able to pretty much peice it all together.

I told him about the manifold that biknman has and he told me to see if the one for the 2.0L would fit first before I bought it. He said all he would have to do is line up the holes and if they didn't fit, he would drill new ones or widen the ones already in to make it fit. If this will or could work, I'm in business. Wastegate and downpipe will all be custom-made. Money isn't the issue here b/c this guy said he's going to give me all kinds of discounts(I think it's b/c he likes the car and seems like he wants to turbo it more than I do), it's whether it can be done or not. I just don't want to buy a kit and can't even use it. If it comes down to it I'll get the one biknman has.

I told him I would ask someone from this site first who would know more about it than both of us would. Can some of you turbo heads out there lighten the situation b/c I have no idea.

BTW if it works, he'll start making this custom kit especially for all the 1.6ers out there.
