BPT upgrades

Well, I want to get Zex for my BPT when I do get it. Can someone help me out and tell me what kind of internal upgrades I can do to the BPT and where I can get them done, and if you know how much they will cost. Don't hold back any internal upgrades because I do plan on spending some $$ on it for a realible engine. I want to run about 100shot bottle on it.

Oh...do you know if the turbo will be a big help to nitrous??

What I'm wondering about in that situation is if the BPT can handle a turbo AND 100 shot nos in any form.

But with regards to that much NOS. You'll probably need an upgraded high flow fuel pump. And probably a better clutch. Possibly a modified fuel rail unless you're going with a Wet NOS system, than you might be able to get away with it. Just make sure the engine isn't going to be running to lean.

Just my .02 cents.

I'll toss you my penny, and say that turbo and NOS usually aren't that great together from what I've heard, if you're looking for a reliable engine.........

well not necessarily a bad combo....but most people are using N2O for "spooling" the turbo....and complain about turbo lag and this and that so they THINK N2O will solve the problem....but if u pick a properly sized turbo, u dont need N2O for anything....and u should consider the "lag" traction control.

hehe, meaning absolutely no T4 on a 1.6L 4 banger :D

well about the fuel...definitely a fuel pump, possibly a better aftermarket adj. FPR like paxton or weapon R....and for turbo probably a FMU for under boost....i unno how that works with N2O cuz i dont know about nitrous....and i recomment forged pistons for anything over a 60 shot......even tho its a stout motor, its made NOT for N2O....if u stay plain turbo, it will be fine even if u turn up the boost.....but with N2O its another story
