BPT restrictive piping?

I just received my BPT yesterday:D
I was looking at how the intercooler piping will have to be routed. I noticed that the pipe leaving the turbo for the intercooler, seems very restrictive as it flattens and bends its way over the mount. Additionally the pipe opens towards the engine instead of towards the front? There must be a reason that it is designed that way. Did you folks replace this pipe in your installations?

I'm not to familiar with what you are talking about or about the bpt gtx engine in general. But I believe the gtx had a rather small IC, and I think mounted behind the radiator. Anywho I'm thinking that that pipe you described, would be connected right to the IC.... Does that look possible?

Yes, this is the aluminum sending pipe directly after the Turbo that carries the pressurized air to the intercoolers. It is strapped (flattened) to the motor. IIRC the GTX intercooler sits beside the radiator on the driver side (right hand drive) and the radiator is smaller to accomodate.
