just wondering if anyone from Canada or preferably in the Montreal region knows how much window tinting costs

i don't know about montreal costs, but here in ohio it costs $240.

have you gotten your windows tinted yet? i'd like to get mine tinted, but ohio law is 50%...not sure it's even worth it. the local tinting shop doesn't even carry 50%....either 35% or 15%...both illegal.

does anyone have pix of 50% on their car, or even 35%? preferrably on the sunlight silver metallic protege...just so i can see what it'll look like.

Are you serious? 50% minimum in Ohio? Shee-it... 50% would be barely noticeable. By the way, welcome to the forum spgille. Don't see many Ohioans in here. Check the Upper Midwest section, there has been talk about setting up a Columbus meet eventually.

I'm not sure if you have these shops in Montreal but in the Toronto area Standard Autoglass charges $199 plus tax for a 2002 Protege5. They use a tint called Sun something (I can't remember). They offer 5, 20, 35 and 50 percent tints.

Apple Autoglass is $240 and have more selection in tint percentages.

I'm having mine done mid May when I get back from a training ex. in Alberta.

In Ontario, the legal tint for the front window is 20% and 5% in the rear and the rear windshield.

dealer charged me 295 and he had it outsourced. This is of course for a sedan.

how much u paided for your tints Naoto?

It was $135 for the 5 windows and then $15 for the sunroof and $15 for the tint strip... =$165

i paid 170CDN for all windows and sunroof and windshield strip

damn.. you ppl pay alot.... i paid 199 for all 9 rear windows tinted @ 35%. 150 if it was rear 7,

I just got mine tinted this weekend. I got the limo tint on the rear windows and I think it was 30% on the front windows and got the tint strip for $200 bucks. Not legal here in NV, but hey...what the hell.
