Where To Get Blaupunkt in Canada For Cheap?

I'm getting a Protege very soon and want to put in a Blaupunkt... either the San Francisco or the Los Angeles model. Does anyone in Canada or Toronto are know of any suppliers or retailers that carry them?

Also, how expensive would they be? I'm looking at spending at most $1,300 for a viper alarm, car deck, and some minor speaker upgrades for front and back... I realize that's not a lot of money but I don't need all these huge subwoofers etc etc...

Thanks

I'm in the same boat as you! I want a blau but no go in Canada!

So far the only way i know of is to buy it online from a place that'll ship to Canada

www.millionbuy.com

will ship to Canada. I'm just waiting to save up and if by the time I'm ready to buy I haven't found a place in Canada to get it, I'm orderin it online.

link right to the LA on million buy:

Let me know if you find something out!

Sheesh that's damn pricey though after the exchange and duties. I'm contemplating getting something like this :

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...d=&newdeptid=9

It's $399.99 CDN at futureshop... but I have a friend who does car audio installations and he's making a few calls today and tomorrow to see if he can find someone that offers blaupunkt...

I'll keep you posted.

Okay some guy on irc just told me that the following place carries Blaupunkt :

Audio Sound Design
330 Steeles Ave. West
905-881-1311

Steeles/Yonge Area...

I'm calling tomorrow to get pricing and availability of the Los Angeles model. Apparently, this irc guy also told me that they start off quoting a high price and you can really work them down. We shall see.

 No shit that's hilarius! Did you tell them you can order it online from the states and even after shipping and exchange it would still be 300 cheaper?

Nah.. I didn't bother only because I didn't feel like getting into an argument. I'm seriously contemplating getting that Kenwood model at Futureshop... I probably won't buy it from futureshop but from a specialized audio store to get a cheaper price...

The only thing I'm really hating about after-market decks is that you normally have to carry them with you ie: detachable faces. The good thing about factory decks is that nobody ever wants those :)

Also, if I do end up getting an aftermarket deck like this Kenwood as per my link at the top of this thread, what kind of in-dash cd changer can I get if any?

PJStyles

P.S - Only thing luring me to the factory cd changer is that it's in-dash. I can pick one up for $350 from a buddy instead of $650 the dealership wants to charge me.
