what speakers are in the mp3?
 

i know they are kenwood but are they specially made for mazda or are they regularly available speakers anyone know the model numbers i wanna check they out and compare they to other speakers im looking at to see if the dimensions are close so i will know they fit thanks.

I don't know the model number, but I was looking at the 5x7's yesterday at a local stereo shop and was VERY dissappointed. The only thing they had going for them was price... $59 (compared to $119 on Mazdastuff.com!). I compared them with some pioneers and a couple of alpines. The kenwoods just seems to hiss a lot. Still, I'm gonna go back and give another listen tomorrow before I make a final decision.

thanks i wasnt going to buy them i just wanted to compare their specs dimension wise to other speakers im looking at i think i will end up going all around infinity reference for now off a pioneer deck later on maybe a set of components and amp but im tight on cash right now so stock speakers for me until i get some more cash.
