Hey guys, I was wondering what kinds of wax you used on your new proteges. Theres so many around its hard to decide which. What do you think is good?? Thanks...

Heh...so many waxes...so little time.
What are you going for? A deep wet look? Shine? Meguiar's and Mother's make good products that are available in retail stores. There are plenty of mail-order products that are also great (ie. Zaino or Klasse). |
I've been using Klasse lately. It's an acrylic sealant instead of a carnuba. Most of the acrylics and polymer are great for shine and longevity. Carnubas are great for that deep, jetted look but have to be reapplied often. My next project I think will involve both: Klasse all-in-one cleaner with a S100 carnuba topper, which you can by at your local Harley-Davidson dealer.

Zaino user here. Not cheap stuff, but the shine is incredible. If you want to go with more readily available stuff, I'd use Meguiars.
If you're REALLY into detailing, you have to check out Autopia. |
Zaino is the best wax available, if you are serious about your car's appearance it is the only thing you should be using

Zaino is good, but expensive, and does take more time than most other systems.
I prefer Coats Products Cherry Wet Wax, Swirl-Less, and Hawaiian Shine shampoo ... and the Miracle Mist for touchups inbetween washes. Pe@ce |
I use Meguires Gel Wash and Mothers Reflection Polish/Wax.
