undercar neon wont stay on ??????
 

I have the Streetglow Goldseries blue, undercar neon , on my car.
after the nasty dc snow we had,, my neons dont stay on.. when i flip the switch ,, the neon just flashes. i checked the fuse, and changed it , but still just flashes... any ideas?????

Are they cracked or damaged in any way?? Check the wiring to make sure that they are not exposed anywhere.

I just did mine. Check all your wire connections and resoder any loose ones.(usually on the connection points). Also check your ground source, if it flashes, that means you still have a current running through all the bulbs. Check the ground and the power source too. :)

the trouble shooting part of my neon manual (reactor kit) says that you have moisture in the connections. Did you solder your connections or just twist them together?

Resolder the connections and don't be shy using the solder. Cover the connection with solder till you can't see the original wire. Also, to keep moisture from penetrating again, cover the connection and about an inch on either side of the connection with electrical tape.

use silicone to seal the ends of the neon tubes, along with the connections after you tape them and any entry points into the car through metal (make sure to use a grommet when going through metal too) this will ensure no moisture will get to them.
