Third brake light

Okay, I got a spoiler, so I want to take off the third brake light that's in the back of the car. How do I take it off?

Hello,

I'd hazard a guess but I believe you would have a hole where the 3rd lights is once it's gone.

I have to take the package tray out of the rear window of my car because it rattles with the stereo...I'm replacing it with carpet because it's easy and won't rattle with my stereo(also, it's easier to keep clean than the plastic, you just vac it!)

Does your light work as well as the LED on the spoiler? Mine dosen't but I have seen Proteges with both working...looks dumb!

huh? I'll bite... how does a spoiler affect your insurance rate? All the extra G's holding the car down make it a safer ride  or the added drag just slows it down just enough :bt:

I think it has to do with if you have a brake light in the spoiler. Apparently a third brake light in the spoiler is easier for traffic to see than in the back window.

Especially in the winter. When the back window may be snowed up [or the bottom of it anyways]. Whereas the spoiler one wouldn't have that problem.
